Half -track stereo (A-7300-2T) 7 1/2 – 15ips did not have uniform wind but substituted with an edit function and memory rewind. Quarter-track stereo (A-7300) 3 3/4 – 7 1/2ips features a uniform wind which is a slow rewind for storing your tapes. Unlike previous Teac models, the A-7300 has all logic circuitry in the transport for more efficient movement through the functions.
